About Me: I have been happily married for 30 years to my wife Michelle and am the father of two incredible boys. I love camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors as a family. I have gratefully been a resident of our Silver City community since 1990 and as a former County Manager, I knew early on that I wanted to help people in our community without having my hands tied by all the red tape.

For me, helping people prepare for the unexpected is personal. I enjoy this, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because I know first-hand what it feels like to need insurance support as a cancer survivor.

Cancer Survivor: In 2005, I was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor that did not stop me personally from helping others like me, in need. I learned first-hand how important good coverage and personal service are when you need them.

Community Involvement: I also have a passion for coaching, supporting, or sponsoring youth sports in Grand County, Hidalgo County, as well as Cobre High School, and Silver High School.
